IELTS Listening test : 04

Watch the related video clip and take notes. Then do the following reading and choose the best word:

Apple apologized on Wednesday for (letting/let) contractors (to listen/listen) to commands that users give to its voice assistant Siri. The company is now promising changes.

The practice, which is designed (to improve/improve) the quality of Siri, came under scrutiny after The Guardian reported last month that contractors could hear users' private conversations. Apple initially responded by the practice earlier this month while the company reviewed it.

In a blog post Wednesday, Apple reported it would require users (to choose/choosing) to having their recordings listened to by human reviewers, rather than (having/to have) this be the default. And only Apple employees will be allowed (to listen/listening) to audio samples of the Siri interactions, rather than contract workers.

Apple isn't the only company that's been forced (change/to change) its approach to

(reviewing /review) recordings from users amid privacy concerns.

Answer:

letting/listen/to improve/to choose/ having/to listen / to change/ reviewing
