I got allured to learning English from very early ages. As the traditional Direct Method of
teaching English did not contend me , I ventured to devise some
special techniques , games and strategies to get a dab hand in
all four skills.
Later on as I passed a sequence of Spoken English classes and
TOEFL classes, I came to the point that there are numerous ways
for integrating the language skills and ever boosting the
process of learning.
My major in English literature further drove me to the idea
that learning English should be firmly grammar-based and
word-powered, the very concept most of language learners show
weakness in.
To date , after an estimated 14 years of teaching English
, TOEFl and IELTS in especial ,at
various levels and varying purposes and groups of pupils, the
utilization of the practices and games which I had always
dreamed my own teachers would have used , has proved to be quite
useful for the pupils who are eager enough to courageously
follow them and put them into practice.
Summing Up , I made a resolution to gather up ,in a form
of a website, whatever material useful for anybody – of any
interest- who would like to have self – studied practice .
